Summary of Position:
The Manager, Marketing is responsible for promoting the annual InfoComm tradeshow to attendees and exhibitors through the use of online advertising, video, email, and other digital methods. The candidate will report to the Senior Director of Exposition Marketing as a member of the Expositions and Event Services marketing team. The marketing team is responsible to increase the number of qualified attendees that come to InfoComm, as well as drive awareness and generate leads of prospective audiovisual manufacturers to exhibit and sponsor the InfoComm show.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee digital marketing agency day-to-day to plan, implement, monitor, and optimize display, search, retargeting and social media advertising campaigns.
Work with internal and external designers to create digital assets for advertising, emails and social media branding.
Work closely with Senior Director, Exposition Sales and Business Development and internal Pardot manager on email marketing campaigns to generate, qualify and automate leads for exhibit sales.
Develop collateral for exhibit sales, including digital sales brochures, sell sheets and video.
Manage referral marketing program to encourage and incentivize attendees to invite their network to InfoComm.
Manage and improve SEO for the InfoComm show website.
Use Showoff (website CMS) to create landing pages for digital marketing campaigns and update exhibitor marketing information on the InfoComm website.
Liaise with internal communications team to ensure our social media advertising maintains the same brand voice as our social media posts.
Report on marketing campaign performance, including conversion rates and cost per acquisition, to Senior Director and Senior Vice President, Expositions on a weekly basis.
Use Google Analytics to report on website traffic on a monthly basis and make recommendations on improving website engagement and usability.
In conjunction with Senior Director, Exposition Marketing, develop, maintain and reforecast annual marketing budget.
Research the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing and social media advertising, and identify and evaluate new technology that can be incorporated into InfoComm’s marketing tactics.
Maintain a solid knowledge of the audiovisual industry and related technologies.

Proven background in digital marketing tactics, including email marketing, display advertising, PPC advertising, retargeting, SEO and website development.
Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data.
Excellent grammar and writing skills are a must. A writing sample is required with your application.
Strong design sensibility and ability to translate branding across multiple marketing vehicles.
Desire to continuously learn about digital marketing trends and technology tools.
Skilled in prioritizing multiple responsibilities and switching focus when necessary.
Effective communicator inside and outside the organization at the leadership, peer and staff levels.
Creative thinker who thrives in a goal-oriented environment.
Ability to work independently but enthusiastic to be part of a close-knit team.
BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, or other related field strongly preferred (or equivalent work experience)
Minimum of five years of experience in B2B digital marketing required, with at least three years of direct experience in display and keyword advertising, retargeting and social media advertising.
Background in audiovisual industry or tradeshow industry is highly desired.
High level of proficiency with marketing-related software programs including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics.
Hands-on familiarity with all social media platforms.
Proficiency in MS Office suite.
Experience with project management tools, including Asana or Clickup is a plus.
