1.Hire, supervise and evaluate permanent and seasonal staff.2.Establish and manage schedule of all activities and support structure for School and Festival planning.3.Plan, prepare and administer the annual budget in conjunction with the Yale School of Music Associate Dean.4.Initiate and coordinate development efforts that include short-range and long-range marketing assessments, strategies to increase earned income, grant applications, annual fund campaign, and other external activities which may include capital campaigns.5.Manage all summer operations of the Norfolk School and Festival.6.Manage public relations and marketing activities, including digital, print, radio and other media.7.In collaboration with the Operations Director of the Ellen Battell Stoeckel Estate, plan and supervise the maintenance of the Summer School and Festival physical plant and capital equipment.8.Develop and implement strategies and activities to build community relations in the town and region.9.Assume projects as assigned by the Director.

Preferred Education:  Graduate degree in arts administration.

Required Skill/ability 5:  Willingness to relocate between New Haven office and Norfolk (May-August) offices.

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years' administrative experience in a classical music performing and/or teaching institution, or similar performing arts administration related experience, including fiscal management, development and fundraising, and marketing.
