Evolves the process to proactively coach existing users surrounding website standards, WCAG, and best practices in maintaining an easy-to-understand website information architecture that adheres to best practices in usability and UX.
Administers the Chicago Booth web content management system (Sitecore), including building and evolving new templates, customizing the CMS (CSS, WYSIWYG menus) for ease-of-use, and handling system troubleshooting.
Addresses and resolves strategic, logistical, and technological issues using CI/CD techniques.Â
Manages the full life cycle of development, documenting, testing, training, and debugging new and existing website development for Chicago Booth web properties or large-scale proprietary software for internal use.
Supervises process to perform audits of the Booth website to determine whether we need to alter procedures to comply with regulations such as GDPR, CASL, and WCAG.
Manages the implementation process to capture website metrics and measurement of digital components, as appropriate, as part of the development process to monitor KPIs.
Serves as a backup to the senior digital director to participate in design and review sessions with the marketing teams (Creative, Content, Marketing, Information Technology, and Partners), focusing on global digital solutions for Chicago Booth.
Manages employees by establishing annual performance goals, allocating resources, assessing annual performance, and determining individual merit, incentive and/or promotional increases.
Maintains departmental priorities, allocates resources, and determines project direction in line with established priorities.
Performs other related work as needed.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, digital media, or a related field.
Interactive marketing experience.
Technical Skills or Knowledge:
Sitecore CMS experience.
Familiarity with HTML5, JQuery, CSS, Asp.Net using C# (MVC), Visual Studio, Adobe Creative Suite, and knowledge of usability principles.
Technical knowledge to work effectively with outside vendors and recommend resources to internal stakeholders.
Professional working knowledge of building web temp.lates for content management systems
Working knowledge of platforms such as Coveo, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Slate
Professional working knowledge of digital marketing best practices with an emphasis on standards-based development practices.
Working knowledge on best practices for WCAG, CASL, GDPR and integrating this into web development.
Proven team management and collaboration skills.
Plan, prioritize, and multi-task a heavy workload and adapt accordingly.
