Work You'll Do
The Deloitte Center for Financial Services (DCFS) has an exciting position open for an innovative marketing strategist. This person will help take Deloitte thought leadership to the next level by developing and implementing creative marketing solutions to create, deploy and promote financial services business insights. The DCFS marketer will collaborate with the Financial Services marketing team to integrate DCFS research assets into the broader Industry issue-based marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate should be highly creative as well as comfortable using research and data to help define and execute strategies. The strategist should be able to collaborate with sector marketing team members and excel at working in an evolving environment within a large, multi-faceted organization.
Develop and drive fully integrated strategic marketing and communications activities that utilize the full spectrum of traditional and innovative marketing channels (Digital, PR, Social Media, Video, Audio etc.).
Provide strategic counsel, idea generation and consultation in support of the DCFS research agenda. Steer pipeline decisions by articulating options and bringing an informed point of view.
Demonstrate great storytelling ability, both written and verbal. Facilitate the development of compelling marketing copy for a variety of communication channels, including web, email, print, video, and presentations.
Understand the industry and sector strategies to align DCFS content to best support campaigns and targeted KPIs in collaboration with Sector Marketing Leaders.
Work with multiple stakeholders and senior leaders to achieve campaign goals.
Partner with In-house Agency and Deloitte Insights colleagues to develop and execute marketing assets and activities.
Actively follow trends in media to understand the industry and develop new ideas to amplify the reach of the DCFS insights.
Employ analytics to draw insights and measure impact and create regular marketing reports to report key performance indicators for research.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in an advertising agency, marketing firm, public relations firm or internal communications/marketing department required
Experience creating and implementing fully integrated marketing plans
Strong background in storytelling to communicate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner
Outstanding verbal, written, and collaboration skills
Highly creative and innovative
Strong ability to think strategically
Desire to work in a team environment
Travel of up to 15% (While 15% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
