University Advancement's USC Alumni Association is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and enterprising professional for the position of Associate Director of Alumni Affinity Programs.
The Associate Director of Alumni Affinity Programs is responsible for engaging USC alumni through an assigned portfolio of programs and events and managing various volunteer groups.Â The Associate Director reports to the Senior Director of Alumni Relations and works to execute annual programs with team members across the Alumni Association. The position requires regular work in the evening and on weekends as well as occasional travel.
Works collaboratively with board members on strategies to engage their respective demographics in alumni programming and involvement.
Produces a wide variety of programs to engage alumni and build awareness for affinity programs through career and professional development, educational, cultural, virtual, and social events.
Works collaboratively with USC Alumni Association staff, campus partners, and volunteers to execute alumni engagement programming.
Contributes to development of department's operating budget. Manages program, project and/or event budgets.
Develops and produces reports of alumni participation and engagement activities for university and/or department use.
Represents University or department at professional meetings, conferences, seminars and other events. Develops and maintains contacts with University officials, media representatives, community leaders and professional colleagues. Maintains partnerships with professional organizations and publications. Â
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. The University reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Â

Working with and managing volunteers and/or volunteer groups.
