The Graphic Designer will assist with the design, development, creation of learning content produced by the MySci instructional specialists. All duties are to be performed in accordance with Institute for School Partnership at Washington University.
Position is responsible for designing new marketing materials and advertisements; position also assists with marketing events and social media marketing initiative.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Designs new marketing materials and redesigns outdated marketing materials.
Consults and collaborates with Marketing Manager and Practice Development Manager to establish parameters and deadlines for projects.
Ensures that deadlines are met.
Recommends printing options, prepares materials, and works with vendors for the most cost-effective solution.
Provides coordination and marketing support for department special events; available to work events as needed outside of normal business hours.
Coordinates the department's social media marketing initiative, including Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, and website updates.
Attends and coordinates photo shoots as necessary to support the Manager of Marketing Services.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills.
Bachelor's degree in graphic design and/or three years of experience as a graphic designer.
$21.60 - $33.45 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
