The Strategic Program Manager will manage key projects and programs within New Business Incubation (NBI). Project/Program management responsibilities.
Oversee all aspects of the project, including managing deadlines, assigning responsibilities, communicating issues/risk and reporting project status.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks; report and escalate to management as needed.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs.
Support and accelerate execution of strategic initiatives, working alongside leaders to ensure effective implementation, governance, communication and change management.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders & business leaders on cross-functional growth initiatives; designing blueprints for new products, ways of working and other disciplines.
Craft and deliver actionable recommendations to senior leadership through data-driven analysis and visualization for executive decision making.
Contribute to a high-performing team of problem solvers from various disciplines who are committed to driving profitable growth & innovation across the company.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Six or more years of program management-related work experience.
Experience within an Agile environment.
Experience with Microsoft Power Point, SmartSheets and other program management software.
Hands on project management approach with a proven track record of full project execution with a focus on integration, business solution and M&A activities.
Experience handling confidential information appropriately.
Even better if you have:
Project Management Professional (PMP).
Client-facing and internal communication skills.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate complex ideas and express them in concise, simple to understand ways.
Comfortable working across all levels of an organization, leveraging organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and time-management skills.
Proven ability to manage complex programs and drive cross-functional teams to meet business objectives and influence co-workers while fostering strong working relationships.
Ability to manage and execute competing tasks and multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently.
Champions and influences the use of established processes, methodologies & tools.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
Experience with Google Sheets, Slides and google drive, Google calendar and Google Mail.
High level of analytical, planning and organizational ability.
