As a senior member of the Admission Office, this Sr. Associate Director will lead all marketing and communications efforts revolving around recruitment and yield, including coordinating efforts with University Communications and Public Affairs (UCPA), the Office of Financial Aid (OFA), Enrollment Management Services (EMS), marketing coordinators within the colleges, and other contributors and stakeholders as needed. Marketing responsibilities include creation and execution of near- and long-term strategies and tactics around outreach to prospective students and parents, counselors, alumni volunteers, and other constituencies both domestic and abroad. This role also includes direct supervision of 3-5 professional admission staff members in marketing and other project responsibilities as assigned, in addition to traditional admission officer duties (on- and off-campus recruitment, application reading, etc.). S/he, along with other admission senior leaders, will consult and advise the Director of Admission and Vice Provost for Admissions and Financial Aid on broader recruitment, selection, and yield strategies and tactics along with personnel, budget, and other matters as needed, and will serve as an example to junior staff to support, amplify and reinforce office policies, protocols, priorities, and practices. The Sr. Associate Director will also actively recruit prospective Lehigh students from specific travel regions, through on-campus programs, off-campus travel, while fostering relationships with schools and counselors, and will read and make decisions on applications applying University and admissions office protocols and priorities. S/he will also serve on, and chair, admissions selection committees as assigned. Other duties and project responsibilities, including but not limited to liaisonships to internal and external stakeholder groups, and non-marketing related projects (ex: travel, reading) as necessary.
