What you’ll be doing...
Verizon is seeking a high-energy, organized, analytical and motivated operations expert to handle an array of business tasks alongside our Chief Creative Officer, the creative marketing group, and Verizon’s broader executive team within the CMO organization.
Reporting to the Chief Creative Officer, you will be responsible for the successful operation of the creative group, oversight of critical strategic initiatives and projects, as well as acting as a thought partner to our Chief Creative Officer.
This position is scoped specifically to allow our Chief Creative to work with more agility, ease and insight across the organization.
Serve as a key point of contact for the Chief Creative Officer with representatives across CMO group, Verizon executive leadership team and external agency partners.
Prepare executive agendas and meeting materials for key organizational meetings including All hands, Brand Summits, Town Halls, Operational Leadership meetings, as well as other ad-hoc strategy discussions.
Organize Creative Reviews and meeting cadence including prioritization of agenda, advanced scheduling, preparation and distribution of materials, key attendees.
Create concise and visually compelling presentations for creative and operational reviews, industry events, speaking presentations and strategic initiatives.
Attend meetings, publish post-meeting notes documenting key decisions and action items in a timely manner, track next steps and follow-ups to completion.
Develop and own timelines and action plans to mitigate potential risks and escalations to key stakeholders when needed.
Constantly striving to streamline process and improve workflow within the creative ecosystem and its external partners.
Support the Chief Creatice Officerin delivering timely working communications including drafting professional emails and sharing follow ups with key stakeholders.
Manage outreach in collaboration with PR for speaking engagements, conference appearances and press opportunities.
Establish cadence of Chief Creative Officer’s social media presence and maintain updates on a regular and timely basis with internal communications team.
Work closely with the EA to manage calendar and schedules to ensure prioritization on highest impact items.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
6+ years of demonstrated success in a Chief of Staff, Operations/ Strategy or Agency role in account and/or project management.
Strong understanding of marketing landscape, campaign and communications development and strategic frameworks.
Experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines and rapidly shifting priorities.
Capable of developing and delivering compelling presentations, as well as run efficient and productive meetings.
Capable of managing stakeholder relationships across multiple functions internally and externally.
Creative thinker, detail-oriented, highly analytical with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal (communication, listening and negotiation) skills.
Self-starter with a healthy dose of urgency and impeccable follow-through.
Thoughtful, strategic with an ability to see big picture and not lose sight of details.
Awareness of organizational structures, inter-department and partner functions.
Team player with a "no job is too small" attitude.
Even better if you have:
Six or more years of experience working in a creative environment.
Agency and or marketing experience.
