The Annenberg School of Journalism at the University of Southern California seeks a highly qualified adjunct instructor to teach PR 523 Advanced Audience Insight Mining. This course focuses on introducing students to big data analytics, social network analysis, text-mining and machine-learning to engage publics through data-driven storytelling. Students will apply advanced data analytic skills to understand applied clientsâ problems and solve these problems through research projects.
Requirements for consideration include a B.A., B.S., M.S., or an M.A. degree in a related field. Previous teaching experience is desirable. For some courses, outstanding professional experience may be substituted for academic credentials.
