Translates audience insights and business objectives into a comprehensive brand strategy.Â Defines business objectives, marketing goals, and key strategies grounded in deep brand, marketing and audience understandings that will inform channel and content strategies.
Understands a wide variety of marketing and communications realms of expertise, including, but not limited to, digital marketing, analytics, creative, content, development and market research. Discerns when to use each area to dig deeper to solve a challenge and to leverage each to solve a business challenge.
Collaborates with the Institutional Research team, the Marketing Analytics team and Director of Digital Engagement to drive insight management in an effort to measure performance and provide informed decision making to teams across the enterprise.
Demonstrates command of and executional experience with an extensive set of marketing strategies and tactics with an emphasis on digital marketing.
Develops integrated marketing plans for enterprise efforts and consults on integrated marketing strategy and best practices across the enterprise.
Works with internal and external resources to create the strategy and branding initiatives to position Chicago Booth in the appropriate position for the markets we serve.
Works closely with programs, centers and senior department leaders to identify the brand strategy to meet the different needs of a complex global school.
Partners with institutional research team, analytics team, director of digital engagement, content and creative director to create marketing campaigns to create the desired branding messages and imaging.
Works collaboratively to direct the creation, execution, and evolution of a cohesive brand strategy on an international and regional level across all channels
Collaborates with Operations team and Senior Associate Director of Brand Strategy on annual planning, focused on creating alignment between research insights, our brand strategy, and project planning and execution.
Provides consultation to partners on brand strategy and consumer insights as needed.
May develop departmental priorities, allocates resources, and determines project direction in line with established priorities.
Provides leadership and supervision to staff, including selection and development of staff.
Performs other related work as needed.
Masterâ™s degree in a business or communications-related area.
Minimum ten years of experience in a marketing/marketing communications position.
Background leading and developing marketing professionals.
Working knowledge in content rich environment, where brand is developed through highly targeted customized storytelling.
