The Assistant Nutrition Center Manager will work in collaboration with the Fitness Center Manager in the day-to-day communications, marketing, development; and public relations of the Nutrition Center. As well as support health and well-being through proper nutrition.
The candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and a valid Illinois driver’s license. Must have 2 years’ experience working in a fitness center/health club, or athletic department. Demonstrated word processing, database management and data entry skills; and knowledge of intercollegiate activities and programs. Excellent organizational, oral, written and listening skills. Must be able to interact well with students, faculty, staff and community members. The successful candidate must be able to work in a position requiring public contact, exercise sound judgment, and assist a diverse student population in a multicultural environment. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including some evening and weekend hours.
