The Development Associate, Communications reports to the Manager, Communications. This position assists in the development and implementation of communications to support Cook Children’s Health Foundation’s fundraising goals.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or related field is preferred.
Minimum of two to three years of hands-on experience.
Duties require exceptional writing and time management skills.
Must be detail-oriented and organized.
Must have the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Must be able to work independently, yet must also be a quick-learning team player that can perform cohesively within the Foundation team, work on cross-departmental teams, conduct meetings, as well as work independently.
Strong project management skills.
Strong writer – experience with stories as well as short copy; Ability to edit both their work and the work of others.
Video editing skills.
