Here is some of what you can expect from being a Coordinator of the Chest Pain Center with us:
You will perform audits as indicated to monitor compliance with practice standards for Cardiac patients
You will participates in data collection, trending of data and communication of findings to appropriate stakeholders to facilitate performance improvement (PI)
You will chair focus teams/committees as applicable to perform duties
You will direct, support and coordinate evidence based nursing practice
You will assume day-to-day responsibility for process and PI activities as they relate to nursing and ancillary personnel and assists the Cardiovascular Services in carrying out these duties
You will actively participate in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all
You will routinely review issues/complications occurring in all Chest Pain (CP)/cardiac related patients
You will support positive marketing and public relations through outreach into the community, outlying facilities and public events
What qualifications you will need:
Current Licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Current Multi-State Licensure as a Registered Nurse
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course through American Heart Assoc. or American Red Cross - Healthcare Provider CPR
Bachelors degree in Nursing
Successful completion of Dysrhythmia Exam
