Under direct supervision, develops, tests, maintains, and supports complex websites and web applications for the University, including email, mobile, and other online interfaces. Assists with production and support of high-visibility projects that are central to the University's marketing efforts. Ensures online communications comply with applicable policy, University brand standards, and generally accepted best practices.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong visual and verbal communications skills, including experience with direct client interface. Comfortable in a fast-paced, fast-changing creative environment with matrix management. Strong attention to detail, and ability to employ a standards-based approach for projects to ensure they meet quality and compliance requirements. General experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders, content producers, and other web developers. Basic experience with social media and mobile applications. Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat. Ability to learn new software and web technologies, and integrate new best practices into daily work.
