This is a 10-month fixed term terminal appointment with contract dates of August 1, 2021 – May 31, 2022 and August 1, 2022 – May 31, 2023. The assistant coach is responsible for assisting the head coach with all aspects of the team program. Primary duties include sport specific training, managing day to day operations including travel arrangements, effectively recruiting student athletes, and maintaining positive public relations for the athletic department. This position is partially funded through the NCAA Division III Coaching Enhancement Grant Program. Anticipated start date: August 1, 2021.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Competitive and/or Coaching Experience at the high school or collegiate level
Strong commitment to the academic achievements of the student-athlete
Ability to work well within a diverse staff and environment
Ability to communicate and organize with student-athletes within the rules and regulations of UWRF, WIAC and NCAADIII
