The Macquarie Investment Management team is looking for a strategic thinker to work closely with its Head of Investment Management, and Chief of Staff.
You will be a key member of the Business Management team, and will be responsible for supporting both the Chief of Staff and Head of Macquarie Investment Management on all strategic planning and firmwide initiatives, including monitoring execution/progress against Macquarie Investment Management's strategic goals and business priorities. You will contribute to key projects that support the strategy, corporate development (e.g., M&A) and other high-level strategic initiatives. You will partner with internal communication teams on stakeholder engagement and internal communications, including content generation and/or contribution to executive-level PowerPoint presentations for staff meetings, town halls, client presentations, and webinars. You will also support overall Macquarie Investment Management governance, including the global Executive Committee and various regional committees. Within the Philadelphia office, you will act as the business point person for new global HQ in Philadelphia on all premises/facilities items and issues, including responsibility for coordinating with the Macquarie Corporate Real Estate team and leading local facility initiatives and/or helping address local facility matters. Lastly, you will partner with Human Resources team to develop, promote, and identify opportunities around culture, wellness and diversity and inclusion.
To be considered for this role, you’ll use your own initiative to launch and progress initiatives using your excellent communication, project management and multi-tasking skills to influence senior management across the business. You’ll possess an execution mindset and be comfortable fostering a collaborative work style to share your expertise across the business. The ability to remain empathetic and flexible across different working styles and cultures and maintain effective relationships is also imperative to success in this position. You will also bring, ideally, prior management consulting experience, business management experience, strategic planning and/or internal consulting experience.
