In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. For every new product launched and every trade executed, it is Operations that develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS OUR IMPACT
Global Market Operations Management & Strategy performs a key role in developing and executing some of the highest priority initiatives of the Global Markets Operations organization. This rarely available opportunity will allow you to gain insight and build expertise in a broad range of disciplines, including driving strategic initiatives, the firm's people agenda, corporate communications, footprint strategy, budget & business planning. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure working with Global Markets senior leadership as well as other teams in Operations.
HOW YOU WILL FILL YOUR POTENTIAL
Identifying and developing divisional priorities and strategy for Operations
Executing on those priorities through project work
Producing analysis to support senior management decision making
Supporting leadership in the development and execution of their internal communication and engagement strategy
Aiding in managing the firm's people agenda
Developing content and presentations for senior leadership
Preparing communications, including formal emails
Managing budgeting and financials
Managing and executing strategic projects
Given the nature of the work and the level of interaction with senior employees, an ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented and have a high degree of independence, maturity and confidence
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Proactive, enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to remain composed under pressure
Ability to convey multifaceted ideas in clear, concise written language
Highly motivated, self-starter with strong academic background
Strong analytical skills, with competency in Business Intelligence toolkit preferred
Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate a complex concept visually
Team focused; able to flex style to interact effectively with a wide range of individuals, including senior management
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to learn quickly, evaluate and form independent judgments
Proficiency with MS software including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
