Builds and maintains data and analytic resources to support strategic and business planning. Develops analysis of data and information from internal and external sources to drive informed decision making.
Must have a Master's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Public Affairs or a related field.
Must have two years of experience in health care planning, strategy, and/or marketing.
May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above.
Skills or Special Abilities:
Must have an intellectual curiosity regarding the future of health care and how changes in the environment can impact the delivery of health care services.
Must have a working knowledge of the health care business environment including market dynamics, regulations, and reimbursement methodologies.
Must have a working knowledge of the health care delivery business including an understanding of business planning and financial modeling
Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in data synthesis and analysis to respond to business questions and drive informed decision making.
Must have knowledge of statistical and quality research methods.
Must have good listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
Must be able to make well organized presentations to hospital management and senior management staff.
Must have strong database management skills.
Must have the ability to work with faculty and staff members across the organization to facilitate the gathering of data and information to support strategic and business planning activities.
