Presentation High School is seeking an entrepreneurial leader to create and lead an Auxiliary Programs Department with programming to begin in the 2021-22 school year. In alignment with the school’s mission and values, the program’s core purpose is to extend the school’s mission through revenue-generating programs and services.
Reports to: Principal
Start Date: June 2021
Develop a vision and goals for the new department.
Create and execute a strategic business plan that leverages the school’s strengths and assets to meet current market opportunities.
Develop and run auxiliary programming in line with the school mission while providing in-demand services through new programming, strategic partnership with other school departments/programs, or outsourcing to external partners.
Prepare and manage a department budget with a targeted net revenue of $500,000/year.
Recruit, hire, onboard, and supervise all staff in partnership with Presentation High School’s Human Resources.
Collaborate with school leadership to leverage school resources to run auxiliary programming, including but not limited to technology, facilities, finance, academic leadership, and public relations.
Develop and implement a communications marketing plan with the school’s public relations department to meet the program’s goals.
Develop systems and processes to support all auxiliary programming that are in line with the school’s business, facility, and safety guidelines.
Ensure student safety and partner with parents by creating policies and practices that communicate policies, expectations, and procedures for any programs or services delivered.
Work closely with the current summer school leadership to continue to deliver a superior program for students.
Master’s Degree and experience working in schools preferred.
