The ROC is a central monitoring service which oversees Facilities Operations utilities assets. This includes oversight of Facilities Operations building automation systems, energy fault detection software, and utility analytics programs. Lead team of analysts, technicians, and mechanics in collaboration with Facilities Operations field teams and third party vendors to achieve results. Provide oversight for large projects in related fields. Develop multi-year utility management strategies to manage cost and consumption within prescribed targets through the use of industry trends and innovations. Influence design of new and replacement energy consuming infrastructure, systems, and building automation systems. 4. Interacts primarily with direct reports, supervisor, customers, peer managers, supervisor's peers, patients and physicians. Bachelor's degree in energy engineering or mechanical engineering along with a certification in energy management or equivalent combination in related fields. The incumbent must have expertise in the fields of energy management and facility mechanical systems and be able to provide oversight for large projects in related fields. Requires a proficiency level typically achieved in five years of progressive experience in facilities services including two years of leadership experience, preferably in health care. Ability to read and interpret blue prints, specifications and related contract regulatory documents. Must possess a thorough working knowledge of building codes, materials and standards, utilities, and computer technology. Must have strong mathematical abilities to analyze, evaluate and compute costs, budgets, and schedules. Requires strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications. Must be able to work independently and effectively align resources to achieve system goals. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and other related software programs. Understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements related to the environment of care Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
