Requisition Number: S_210005 Department: College of Architecture-0896 Description of Work: Serving as an energetic and engaged member of the College of Architecture's Student Success team, the position will provide graduate and professional student recruitment and marketing the College of Architecture. This primary role of the incumbent in this position will focus on recruitment efforts, provide college counseling to prospective students, assist with campus visits and represent the College of Architecture at on- and off-campus events. Responsibilities also include partnering with Graduate Admissions, alumni and other organizations; coordinating recruitment efforts with Student Success staff, Communications Director and Program Directors; and assists with development of marketing materials. Some travel and evening/weekend work required. The primary responsibility of this position is to increase Masters-level enrollment at the College of Architecture by using recruiting strategies to enroll domestic and international students. This position will work with the Student Success Director, Program Directors and Dean to successfully devise and implement the strategic enrollment plan for the college. The incumbent in this position will report directly to the Student Success Director and will work with faculty, staff, and students to meet the goals set in the strategic enrollment plan. The position will provide guidance, communication, promotional information, consultation, and assistance to schools/colleges, organizations, agencies, and communities involved in the education and recruitment of potential students. This position will maximize recruiting strategies, including campus visits, business networking, special events to recruit students, social media, and other methods to increase enrollment of domestic and international students. Minimum Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Design-related field plus 6 months of experience in recruitment or marketing. Must have demonstrated ability to work with diverse student backgrounds necessary. Must have ability to work as an effective team member, as well as being a capable self-starter. Must have demonstrated competency in common office technology software systems. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, writing skills, organization/time management skills and computer skills. Valid driver's license necessary. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree preferred. Knowledge of UNL preferred. Knowledge of InDesign helpful. Experience working with students and/or communications/recruitment preferred. Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication, organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills helpful. Detail oriented and highly organized skills preferred. Ability to multi-task and work independently desirable. Posted Salary: $37,677 minimum Job Type: Full-Time
