Management Support (Research & Development) (2100070) - Research Triangle Park, NC
Business coordinator to the Global R&D organization as a functional operating unit. This role will provide direct support to the Head of Global R&D, the coordination of the RD LT and support ~7 LT members as required with special projects. Serves as the single point of contact for internal communication within the Global R&D organization interacting with the AP Global Communications Community and the R&D BioScience organization.
Organizes and prioritizes critical issues and required information for the executive leadership team to facilitate efficient decision making. Acts as a point of contact or gatekeeper between leadership team and stakeholders. Provides oversight and guidance to projects of high importance.
Provide project management and oversight while coordinating with key stakeholders, experts and other functions leading to desired outcome.
Provide analytical support to evaluate and achieve business goals in a measured manner. Build and develop relationships with all functions for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into inquiries regarding GBU activities.
Facilitate collaboration amongst senior management and department leaders. Performing an array of supporting tasks such as planning, coordinating, and coordinating meetings. Assist SVP with internal communication, meeting with HR leaders and attending to staff needs, ensuring any problems are resolved.
Single point of contact for all internal, global communication needs. Provides central point of collection for communication needs and responses to the needs leverage centralized resources ensuring all communications aspects are tied into to the overarching Global AP, Global R&D and BioScience Research Strategy.
Formula for Success
Masters or higher preferred.
Relevant experience in R&D Operations, Project Management (driving and oversight of personnel engagement initiatives) (~10 years).
Comprehensive knowledge of R&D operations.
Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior management.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Detail oriented and data driven.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments.
Ambitious, driven and self-motivated.
