This individual represents the interest of the physicians, particularly in contract negotiations. In addition, you will handle sponsorships, public relations, and financial planning.

Job Summary: The CSKJI Sports Medicine Business Executive is responsible for the growth, development and management of the Kerlan-Jobe Institute's business initiatives and programs such as Sports Medicine Program, Sports Team Relationship Management, Academic and Research.
In this role, the incumbent will define and execute the overall KJI growth strategy and will be responsible for identifying MD recruitment needs, evaluating new market opportunities, develop and manage the "CSKJI System" brand and channels; optimizing cost and performance of financial growth and strategic planning. Works collaboratively with various stake holders to establish and develop successful branding and marketing initiatives designed to support KJI business development objectives for financial growth. One will network and represent KJI interest at all levels of sports organizations from high school, amateur leagues to professional sports teams.
As member of the CSKJI executive team, the Sports Medicine Business Executive represents CSKJI in various hospital/clinical meetings, meets with key community members and boards to best understand community and stakeholder needs, and works to strategically align service offerings appropriately. Responsible for overall CSKJI system leadership and vision with an emphasis on strategic planning and partnerships, driving market share and revenue growth, quality and clinical excellence, and development and expansion of appropriate services lines. Drives organizational culture thru deliberate, consistent and clear communication of vision, goal setting that engages all levels of the organization and aligns with vision, and recognition of goal completion and overall service excellence in appropriate manners to reinforce and reward behaviors and results that drive success. Mentor staff in both clinical and non-clinical skills to promote culture of growth and continuous improvement; improving employee engagement.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: * Define, develop and execute growth strategy * Evaluate new business opportunities * Proactively target prospective partnerships and establish/develop business relationships * Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships and apply a consultative approach to create new business relationships or renew existing agreements to achieve revenue growth targets * Collaborate with various stake holders to establish and develop successful branding and marketing initiatives designed to support KJI business development objectives such as partnering with clients on endorsement deals * Foster cross-practice awareness and collaborate to optimize business opportunities * Network with sports industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and social networking sites to promote CSKJI and their clients as well as to build new business relationships * Identify physician recruitment and other business needs * Oversee the development of new clinical and outreach programs * Manage partner integration to the CSKJI system * Develop and manage Sports Team Relationship Management * Ensure that the Academic and Research Programs is working in concert with the CS Dept of Orthopedics * Oversee the research funding opportunities * Partner with Legal Department for development, negotiation, execution and management of contracts
