Location: Winona, MN Full/Part Time: Full Time Employment Condition: Externally Funded Job Description: Responsibilities: 2.Program Coordination. Coordinate the SSS Tutors and Supplemental Instruction Program. Responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, mentoring, and replacing tutors for the SSS program. Responsible for coordinating all paperwork and processes related to the employment of SSS tutors with the Business Office and Financial Aid Office. Coordinate the supplemental instruction program in consultation with the same program in tutoring services. 3.Academic Skills Trainer/Coach. Responsible for the development and oversight of time management and study skills programming for SSS students. Work individually with students to improve time management and study skills. Develop resource materials. Work as the SSS program expert on academic skills development. 4.Liaison to Tutoring Services. Collaborate regularly with staff of WSU Tutoring Services to facilitate services that meet the needs of SSS students. Develop and implement a comprehensive system to evaluate SSS Tutoring services to ensure that student needs are met. Coordinate annual evaluation of SSS tutoring services by participating students and other stakeholders. 5.Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth functioning of the department and maintain the reputation of WSU. Including but not limited to participating on committees and work groups, managing an assigned operating budget, and participating in professional development opportunities.
