GENERAL SUMMARY / OVERVIEW: Mass General Brigham's Enterprise Data and Digital Health (EDDH) initiative is working to expand access to digital tools and technologies that address significant health care challenges. By providing resources and coordinated support, EDDH is helping to take innovative care solutions that have been successful at our academic medical centers and make them available to all institutions across the system. EDDH will advance foundational investments in data, analytics, technology, AI, and machine learning. In addition, as we respond to increasing healthcare market pressures and learn about new opportunities to advance patient care, research, and education, digital health is vital to the future of the system and growth strategies. The EDDH initiative will work to further engage patients in their health care journeys and enable Mass General Brigham's future, providing world-class clinical care with the best possible experience for patients. Mass General Brigham's board and system-wide executive leadership are making significant investments in enterprise data and digital health, enabling innovation and transformation in the delivery of health care, research and discovery. By building out core digital and data capabilities, we are supporting the achievement of Mass General Brigham's mission to drive growth and innovation in inpatient, ambulatory, and digital care. We are at the start of this journey and we are looking for talented individuals from across the nation to join us in transforming healthcare and in achieving the expected outcomes of this strategy: improved patient care, quality of care, patient engagement, and efficiency in the delivery of healthcare with excellence. In the achievement of these goals, Mass General Brigham's data and analytic teams are working together to build a system-wide data ecosystem. We are both leveraging current assets and building new, integrated solutions to provide a holistic set of industry-leading data and analytic capabilities, supporting Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and real-time insights. Teams from Data and Analytics, Research Analytics, Clinical Data Science, and Information Systems are collaborating to build this new data and analytic ecosystem. To ensure success of this effort, Mass General Brigham is standing up a new Data and Analytics operating model with a goal of driving a level of standardization for data and analytic operations across the teams involved. The value of investments in data and analytics were proven out during our response to COVID-19 as these investments were leveraged to stand up new reporting and analytic capabilities to support executive and clinical leadership on managing the pandemic. Our broad data and analytic community has come together across Mass General Brigham 's 14 healthcare sites with shared urgency, delivering analytic tools to our system that drove timely insights in both clinical and operational domains, resulting in effective delivery of critical care and in organizational efficiencies during a time of reduced resources. We are looking for an experienced Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) Developer to develop Data Quality rules, profiles and scorecards for on-prema and on-cloud data sets. Data Quality Developer will work closely with development teams and troubleshoot any development bottlenecks. Additionally, as we expand our data ecosystem to include a cloud-based Data Lake, this role will work with the team in this environment. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Team up with business and technical teams for requirement gathering on business/data quality rules • Perform advanced data profiling, examine results and document observations for reviewing with project teams • Able to build mappings and workflows using Informatica developer tool for data cleansing, standardization and de-duplication. • Able to comprehend and apply different transformations like Lookup, Expression, Normalizer, Standardizer, Parser and additional transformations for data standardization • Develop data validation components in data quality like profiles, mapplets, rules and scorecards • As a coach to enable data engineer to develop data quality components and ensure coding best practices are followed • Build reusable components in Informatica to enables its use across source systems • Automate Informatica jobs using jobs schedulers and scripts • Work with development teams in examining log files for any locks on informatica jobs, workflows or scorecards Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems engineering, or related technical discipline • 5+ years of IT experience including Data Integration, Data Quality, Data Migration, Data Governance projects • Minimum 3 years of development experinces using Infomatica products • Minimum 1 year of experience of using Informatica in Data Quality and Data Governance projects • Knowledge of data processing in on-prem, on-cloud and hybrid environments is a plus • Experience of integration of Informatica with Metadata Tool (example, Collibra) is a plus • Experience in building match, merge process and human task workflows in IDQ to handle exceptions is a plus SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES: • Excellent stakeholder-facing and internal communication skills. • Proven ability to execute multiple tasks efficiently and effectively. • Self-motivated, independent and possesses the ability to learn quickly. • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills. • Ability to achieve results through influence without authority in a highly matrixed organization. • Ability to successfully negotiate and team up with others of different skillsets, backgrounds and levels within the organization SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: • None FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY: • No direct budgetary responsibility • Demonstrates fiscal responsibility by effectively using MGB resources WORKING CONDITIONS: MGB has implemented special remote working policies due to COVID-19. These policies are subject to change; however, it is currently expected that this position will work remotely (e.g. from home) full time through June 2021 If onsite: • Possible local travel to Partners sites, vendors, and conferences • Normal office working conditions.
