Public Affairs brings together teams responsible for engaging with the company's stakeholders. Reporting to the Head of Operations, Finance and Insights for Social Impact & Sustainability (SIS), this highly visible role will be a part of the Operations & Insights Center of Excellence and play an integral role in supporting the ongoing development and implementation of the evolving Social Impact & Sustainability strategy. This position will oversee Wells Fargo Foundation Board governance and enhance its engagement approach by ensuring alignment to key enterprise forums to meet overarching goals and objectives towards business growth. This role will also identify opportunities to further engage marketing and communications for increased operational efficiency and support business review, projects and national philanthropic events.

This highly visible position can be located in Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; Phoenix, AZ; St. Louis, MO; Denver, CO. Other Wells Fargo locations may be considered.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Serve as a trusted advisor and sounding board for a variety of Social Impact & Sustainability initiatives including strategic planning innovation and execution
• Oversee the Wells Fargo Foundation Board governance, quarterly meeting planning and facilitation, and executive dashboard development and implementation
• Oversee strategic approach and execution of SIS All Team meetings
• Support SIS on Public Affairs project decisioning, business reviews, and special initiatives
• Lead operations & planning efforts to enable change while mitigating risk within the team
• Review end-to-end business processes and identify efficiencies
• Partner with key stakeholders to develop organizational change management strategies across the Social Impact & Sustainability team
• Partner with marketing & communications teams to ensure SI&S strategy is aligned to overall Public Affairs strategic initiatives
• Provide leader support for internal and external executive presentations and national philanthropic events as needed
• Develop processes and tools to hold individuals and teams accountable for progress
• Establish governance standards for the team

The Social Impact & Sustainability team manages strategic philanthropy for Wells Fargo. The team delivers impact and builds trust while protecting and enhancing the company's reputation and culture.

• 8+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services demonstrated through work or military experience

• Current Social Impact and Sustainability experience within financial services
• Experience in driving change management initiatives
• Experience with end-to-end strategic planning and implementation
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience presenting information that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels
• Experience developing executive presentations and prepping senior leaders for speaking engagements or interviews
• Experience building strong relationships and collaborating across large organizations

• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
