The Assistant Director of the Alumni Annual Fund (AAF) will become a member of a well-organized and collaborative Alumni Annual Fund team. Collectively, the AAF team raises $10 million from alumni, parents, and friends of the College, and is considered to be a national model for alumni participation.
The Assistant Director of the Alumni Annual Fund will provide program support with the Associate Director to provide staff support for the AAF volunteer engagement outside of reunion years. Offer relationship management to maintain working relationships with current alumni leaders in a range of classes and members serving on the Alumni Annual Fund board. Organize class team meetings and calls, keeping teams accountable to their plans and deadlines.
This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) exempt, regular, benefit-eligible staff position. Some travel, as well as evening and weekend work is required.
The successful candidate possesses a bachelors degree and has an appreciation for the educational experience a small residential college provides. Must have interest in thinking creatively and strategically about how engagement with an organization intersects with philanthropy and volunteerism. Preferred qualifications include previous experience in relationship or account management, fundraising, volunteer management, or comparable experiences.
