The E. W. Scripps School of Journalism, BSJ program on the Athens, OH campus is seeking applications for individuals to serve as adjunct (part-time intermittent term) faculty in the Strategic Communication (advertising and public relations) track for Spring 2021 of the 2020-2021 academic year.
The successful candidates will teach course(s) for spring 2021 semester primarily in the strategic communication track, a curriculum that integrates previous advertising and public relations sequences.
A Bachelor's Degree in journalism, public relations, advertising or related field, and significant professional experience is required.
Proficiency in strategic communication writing and the ability to teach a variety of courses (senior capstone course, diversity, management, creative, media, and research).
Strong ties to the professional community.
