Develops, implements and oversees marketing campaigns and events on property, including but not limited to problem-solving; welcoming guests; facilitating event set-up and take-down; communicating with staff; organizing vendors and collaborating with external groups. Leads the evaluation and feedback process post-event and creates a plan to implement changes and improvements.
Coordinates event entertainment, including music, performers, and guest speakers. Ensure proper set up of microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards with support from A/V vendor.
Creates and manages branded social media content. Monitors local, national and international trends and KPI’s of similar venues to assist in driving growth throughout all social media channels.
Maintains the property website keeping information current and relevant.
Manages the day-to-day branding opportunities in the community, ensures brand identity throughout programming and searches for other opportunities.
Responsible for revenue generation through the sale of property, events and media assets as well as the creation, development and implementation of the overall strategic marketing direction to consumers, advertisers, marketing companies and the surrounding business community.
Develop and execute an annual marketing plan which strategically supports the property’s objectives and positively impacts the property’s traffic, sales, retailers, promotion and community partnerships.
Manages with the annual marketing budget and quarterly forecasting processes. Ensures operational expenditure throughout the year is within the approved budget. Prepares monthly budget vs. actual reports and variance explanations for the VP, Retail and Place.
Coordinate and maintain all visual merchandising, signage and advertising programs.
Manages accounts payables and receivables as well as lease agreements using available systems and complying with all relevant policies.
Builds and fosters relationship with tenants by creating, coordinating and executing community events that help promote the tenants. Develops and coordinates concierge program and other convenience services for the property.
MOD (Manager on Duty), Marketing Manager works weekends as needed based on events, etc. and/or works their scheduled weekend rotating with the management team.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field required
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or public relations
Industry experience with real estate, travel, hospitality, or luxury goods is preferred
Functional understanding of development, production processes, and cycle times across a variety of mediums such as digital content creation, social media, print, and video
Ability to proactively and efficiently manage workload, especially as it relates to critical deadlines on a large and diverse volume of projects (e.g. multitasking)
Strong background in project management and oversight beginning with a project’s inception through various planning stages and delivery
Ability to think critically in the development of new work as well as in prioritization of tasks in order to prepare for internal feedback or technical roadblocks
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships both externally and internally
