University of the Sciences (USciences) has an immediate need for a qualified candidate for the position of Adjunct Instructor of Pathophysiology in the Physician Assistant Studies Department. The person in this position is responsible for participation in student learning activities in Pathophysiology during the didactic phase of the Graduate Physician Assistant Program and reports to the Program Director/Chair, Physician Assistant Department. This is a part-time, non-tenure-track position for the Spring semester which starts for the PA program on January 4, 2021.

Coordinate, teach and evaluate instruction in Pathophysiology.
Facilitate potential partnerships with local, state, and regional medical facilities for lectures, other adjunct faculty, preceptors, and clinical site development in conjunction with the Director of Clinical Education
Advocate for the program and the Physician Assistant profession within the medical and academic communities including public relations and promotions.
Other educational duties as assigned by the Director of Academic Education, Associate Program Director, or Program Director
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Must hold at least a Master's degree in a related medical discipline. Doctorate preferred.
Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-certified and have or be eligible for current licensure in Pennsylvania
Must have strong interpersonal skills including good oral and written communication abilities
Must have a familiarity with common office and academic software
