COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR , Office of the Vice Chancellor-Registrar's Office , to realize the registrar's communication plan and marketing strategies by writing, reviewing, and/or editing web, social media, and electronic and written correspondence. Will serve as the primary writing resource for internal and external communications, software documentation, publications, and presentations; and partner with the communications administrator to provide stewardship for the Registrar's Office communication efforts.
REQUIRED : a bachelor's degree in communications or related field; at least three years of experience in academic administration; strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write, edit, proofread, publish, and produce print and web content and communications materials; initiative; proficiency with technology and the use of integrated information systems; and in-depth knowledge of MIT policies and procedures. Must be able to define and analyze complex situations, manage multiple projects simultaneously, work effectively with varied constituencies (faculty, staff, students), and proactively research information and data.
