The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the hospital’s marketing and communications activity. Heavily focused on informing the public about hospital and clinic services by writing materials such as brochures and websites. Coordinates all press releases with guidance from corporate marketing. The goal of each program will be to promote hospital services and to continue to improve community relations and increase awareness.
General Duties Include:
Preparation of annual advertising budget and management of monthly expenditures.
Coordinates the execution of marketing programs with vendors including advertising and communications functions.
Ability to write content for a variety of marketing channels to include Facebook, websites, fact sheets, and press releases.
Plans and implements special events; preparing & submitting news releases; initiating promotional opportunities to meet marketing objectives.
Follows Marketing guidelines in regards to policies and procedures for all programs.
Communicate regularly with leadership to discuss marketing programs and their objectives.
1+ years experience in communications or marketing; strong internship experience will be considered.This is an entry-level writing position.
Ability to gather information, identify problems and recommend solutions.
Ability to work with different audiences such as hospital leadership, physicians, clinical staff and the public.
Requires appreciation of our community’s rural small-town environment that focuses on personalized care.
Excellent interpersonal and time management skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
