The Online Program Recruitment & Outreach Specialist for the University of Nebraska is responsible for outreach to prospective online students in the UNL College of Education and Human Sciences (CEHS), including student recruitment, lead nurturing, student advising, and maintaining a working knowledge of campus offices and activities related to online education, and monitoring and analyzing the impact of the program. This position will work with the customer relations management (CRM) tool and related teams to ensure timely and consistent communications appropriate for prospective online student populations and reporting of key performance indicators. The Recruitment & Outreach Specialist will coordinate lead nurturing efforts in partnership with NU Online/CEHS and collaborate with both in recruitment marketing efforts.
The Recruitment & Outreach Specialist will also coordinate, develop, and disseminate communication pieces for internal and external audiences for the Department of Educational Administration (EDAD). The Recruitment and Outreach Specialist will support communications, marketing, and public relations for EDAD, as assigned by the chair, including maintenance and coordinator of the EDAD website, in coordination with the College of Education and Human Sciences and University Communication staff, identification, research, production, and distribution stories of EDAD students, faculty, staff, and alumni, and assistance in the planning, development and execution of the department's communications and public relations/marketing/recruiting plan.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Marketing, Business, Journalism/Public Relations, or related field plus one (1) year experience in college admissions or advising offices. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have ability to read and interpret complex information, communicate with customers and listen attentively. Must have proficiency with computer software to include word processing, databases and spreadsheets. Must have demonstrated skill in using social/electronic media, writing development of electronic newsletters, brochures, and other promotional materials (electronic and print). Must have strong organizational skills, time management skills, and ability to balance multiple projects. Attention to detail and accuracy is essential. Must have strong interpersonal skills. Must have ability to work collaboratively and interact effectively with team members, clients and outside constituents.
Knowledge of principles and practices in college student services preferred. Knowledge of CRM system(s) desirable. Intellectually agile, enthusiastic, problem solver and team player who seeks to contribute to the success of the organizations preferred. Self-starter with attention to detail and able to work independently along with having the judgment to seek direction and/or input from others desirable. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills preferred. Proven follow through on projects and timely execution of tasks in a fast-paced setting helpful.
Posted Salary: $38,000 minimum
