The Student Experience Manager for the Center for Community & Civic Engagement (CCCE) develops and leads student preparation, coaching, and reflection related to its community and civic engagement programs. The Student Experience Manager is responsible for shaping students’ experiences across a range of programs with a focus on critical reflections and ethical engagement. Focal relationships include student fellows working in the CCCE, compensated break-time fellows, volunteer student program directors based at community sites, and community-based work study students, among others. The CCCE’s student programs address a range of complex social issues, including these focal issue areas: education, health and wellbeing, environmental and food systems, peace and conflict.
The Student Experience Manager will work in close collaboration with the professional staff and student leaders, including colleagues responsible for relevant community-facing, faculty-facing, and logistical components of these programs. This position directly supervises the 5th Year Program Associate focused on community-based work study. Day-to-day supervision of students is distributed among the professional staff team; this position will directly supervise a sub-group of students and support colleagues in supervising others.

This is a regular full-time, 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE) benefit eligible position.
