The Annenberg School of Journalism at the University of Southern California seeks an adjunct instructor to teach JOUR 207: Reporting and Writing I, Fall 2020.Â
JOUR 207 provides students with foundational skills to report, write and produce news stories across multiple platforms, including social media, digital and text.
Â Â Applicants should have a minimum of three years reporting experience as a text reporter for a newspaper or digital outlet where text pieces were the primary product writing. That experience should include daily Â Â and breaking newsÂ Â reporting. Â Experience with enterprise, long-form or feature reporting is a plus. Experience with writing/reporting across multiple platforms including websites, apps, push alerts, and social media platforms is also a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:Â Masterâs or Bachelorâs degree in Journalism or more than three years of professional career/experience.
