Serves as the coordinator of all customer and public relations, including online, telephone, and walk-in customers, departmental customers, and general public customers of Parking and Transit Services. Coordinates and assists with all events and marketing and communication efforts.
1. Assist the Customer Service Manager in managing parking and transportation for special events such as conferences, workshops, orientations, graduations, concerts, and other university activities. 2. Coordinate the day-to-day management of Parking and Transit Services special events with on-campus and off-campus officials, to include the events calendar. 3. Initiate, coordinate, and supervise the service request forms, departmental permit request forms, golf cart and charter service request forms. Prepare and submit all appropriate service charges for billing and interdepartmental transfers to the Business Coordinator. 4. Assist in writing and editing copy for promotional and informational materials such as posters, brochures, websites, social media, etc. 5. Responds to request for information from the media and public, distributes promotional materials, including flyers, brochures, and press kits; prepares and presents information to internal and external sources. Responsible for the production and distribution of other promotional materials. 6. Responsible for maintaining a high-level amount of activity on all social media platforms. 7. Oversees all advertising efforts. 8. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree Experience: Focus Related Field Experience (yrs) 1-2 yrs. Substitutions: Indicated education is required; no substitutions allowed. When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional education toward the experience requirement at a rate of one (1 ) year of relevant education per year of required experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of marketing strategies, processes, and available resources. 8. Ability to create, compose, and edit written and graphical marketing materials. 9. Routine deadlines; usually sufficient lead time; variance in work volume seasonal and predictable; priorities can be anticipated; some interruptions are present; involves occasional exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor. Job frequently requires reaching, hearing, handling objects with hands. Job frequently requires standing, walking, talking, hearing, handling objects with hands, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
