Manage staff and initiatives of the Communications Office. Develop, plan, and administer internal and external comprehensive, communication tools, messages, and materials that meet the communication needs of stakeholders and the strategy of the Communication Office. Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness and optimizing the use of available resources. Execute small and large-scale communications, informed by stakeholder needs, institutional needs and priorities and the goals of the Communications Office. Represent the Communications Office at selected internal and external meetings with staff, students, faculty, alumni, and community leaders.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in a related field.
Required Experience: 5+ years of relevent experience including project management.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to develop and conduct effective presentations and discussions. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite. Skill in crafting targeted communications for addressing the specialized needs of diverse audiences. Knowledge of communication theories, principles, practices and techniques. High level of organizational skills and proven record of delivering quality results efficiently and quickly. Demonstrated knowledge of new technologies to develop and deliver information, programs and/or services. Ensure adherence to legal, accessibility, and institutional standards.
