Richmond Elementary School District is seeking a Superintendent/Principal starting the 2020-21 school year in Susanville, CA. The key responsibilities of the Superintendent/Principal include but are not limited to the following:
Provide leadership in policy, curriculum, professional development, evaluations, special education, staffing, and other duties.
Assist the Board of Trustees in setting priorities for the District.
Establish and maintain effective communication and collaboration throughout the District and within the community
Knowledge of budget including LCFF & LCAP
Master's Degree or Higher
Valid California Administrative credential
Valid teaching certificate
Successful experience in leadership roles
Knowledgeable in curriculum and instruction
Strong communication and public relation skills
Knowledgeable in Federal & State laws

Richmond Elementary School District is a one school district, TK-8th grades, comprising of a small, close-knit group of students, parents, and staff who are dedicated to the growth and success of all in our community. The student population is approximately 220 students. The unduplicated demographics of Richmond's student population is 13.3% Socioeconomically Disadvantaged, 0% English Learners, and 0% Foster Youth. The staff comprises of 10 certificated employees, two management personnel, and twelve classified staff members.
We pride ourselves on our outstanding test scores. In 2019 on the CA School Dashboard, we have a level of 'green' in the ELA and Math. The school district's level is 'blue' in both Chronic Absenteeism and Suspension Rate.
