The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a qualified Center Administrator. This position serves in an administrative capacity for the Center for Urban Education general office management and will provide direction, leadership, and administration to all aspects of the Center, Center staff, and Center faculty.
Assisting in budgetary management
Program planning and coordination
Handling duties for upper administration
The individual should be efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. The ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good writer and communicator, a problem solver and organized, assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner, and the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of the Center.
A qualified candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in an academic setting. Prior work in event planning or public relations is helpful. This person should also possess integrity, intelligence, a professional demeanor, and flexibility in a busy working environment.

Hiring Range: $26,988.00 - $43,212.00
