Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Part-time Outreach Assistant for the Evanston campus.
Temporary Job Description:
The temporary Outreach Assistant position provides standard and routine marketing and administrative support, which may include word processing, data entry, ordering supplies, utilizing industrystandard marketing resources, posting social media content for departmental events and promotions, answering phones, greeting visitors, providing information via phone and email, and/or coordinating meetings and reservations. Additionally, the temporary Outreach Assistant is responsible for creating, designing, and maintaining websites, promotional materials, and branded templates.
A High School diploma or equivalent;
Experience in communications, social media, public relations and events planning.
High level of organizational skills and attention to detail;
Diligent and can work independently; able to support multiple projects at once;
Flexibility, adaptability in a fast-paced environment;
MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
