We are looking for a talented Social Media and Digital Content Manager to join our corporate communications team. In this role you will partner with team mates internally and externally to create compelling digital content and social campaigns that build our brand awareness and foster meaningful impact.
Social and digital Strategist
Own social media marketing, including the design, execution, optimization and measurement of social media and content campaigns for both organic and paid social media
Lead the development and execution of social media and digital strategies that drive brand awareness and engage Otsukas followers
Deep understanding of how social content functions and how to optimize content to maximize engagement
Ensuring that all content meets Otsuka SOPs and is compliant from regulatory, legal and data privacy standpoints
Support our growing employee brand ambassador program to help empower our employees to be the best brand champions for Otsuka
Monitor and engage with online communities across all social platforms
Ability to contribute from development of strategic presentations to posting content
Ensure messaging is on-brand
Develop social and digital content strategy and build successful content plans
Develop copy for social media and digital content both long-form and short-form content
Good understanding of how to use video, audio, animations and other rich media assets to contribute to content strategy
Work with partners across the company to create compelling content through integrated digital, social and event marketing campaigns to build thought leadership
Flawless writing skills with no room for error, and strong verbal/presentation skills
Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to bring social-first approaches and best practice to marketing campaigns
Manage the relationships with digital agencies, suppliers and consulting resources
Work with agencies or internal teams to plan and execute social media and digital campaigns
Maintain Otsukas Social Media Content Calendar - working with stakeholders across the company to create and share engaging content and grow follower base
Team player with a can-do attitude where no task is too big or small
Track and report on metrics:set and execute on a set of key performance metrics and use that data to inform content decisions across digital channels
A whiz at social management tools for calendaring, listening and paid media
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in both social and digital
Energized by innovative marketing and emerging digital trends
Required Skills And Experience
Bachelors degree in communications, marketing, public relations or related field
5 years experience in social media or digital content development experience with large consumer brand including content generation, community development, and management
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, and attention to detail
Able to multitask, be a self-starter, and collaborate closely with cross functional teams
Deep understanding of social media and digital trends and capabilities.
Strong knowledge of grammar and AP style
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to think creatively and write for different audiences
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines
Quick to move and able to quickly develop strategic plans
