The Pacific Council on International Policy at USCâs Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, seeks an Associate, Technology and Operations to join it's high performing team.
The Associate, Technology and Operations will report to the Chief Innovation Officer and will beÂ instrumental in keeping the Pacific Council on International Policy running efficiently using modern technology. We are looking for a highly organized can-do spirit that has a proven ability and interest to learn the ins and outs of our various software applications (including Salesforce), website backend, and nonprofit operations.Â
Become the go-to for staff questions & training on our various tech tools (including Salesforce, Drupal, ClickUp, Conga, Teams, etc.).
For Salesforce: administer users, handle simple change requests, run regular dataÂcleanliness checks and work with staff to improve data integrity. Eventually handle workflow automation & dashboards and reports.
For our website administration: main POC for external web-developers for regular security updates, to implement occasional changes as requested by various departments, or to resolve errors.
Research, help implement, and train staff on new technology tools.
Main POC for external IT management vendor, who are responsible for our IT equipment, and Microsoft Office 365 administration.
Assist in providing information to external accountants.
Research hardware and software purchases.
Help maintain organizational compliance & insurance records.
Special projects the Associate may be involved in include transition to a new website, researching device and cyber security policies, restructure expense accounting and approval processes, researching nonprofit compliance issues, among others.
Highly organized, detail oriented, and a can-do attitude.Â
Natural affinity for technology and data.Â
Some experience with database applications, and willingness to become a Salesforce expert. Some experience in administering software applications and assisting others with questions or leading training and/or creating training materials.Â
High skill level in using office applications, particularly word merges and excel.Â
Interest in non-profit operations and international policy.Â

The hourly pay range for this position is $20.51 - $23.07.
This is a full-time, gift-funded, non-exempt staff position.
