Rider University invites applications for four Graphic Designers, who will create visual concepts that inspire, inform and captivate a variety of audiences. These individuals will work collaboratively across many divisions of the university to produce collateral material such as flyers, posters, publications, invitations, brochures, direct mail pieces, advertising, fundraising pieces and more.
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field along with expertise in the design and production of publications, including design layout and print production. Individuals must also possess: strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts and layouts; expert skills in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator; the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines; knowledge of printing industry and ability to effectively work with printers and other publication personnel; the ability to work with diverse groups of faculty, staff, alumni and students on multiple projects with varying deadlines; experience coordinating competing priorities and personalities, working with cross-functional teams, and managing client relationships; exceptional interpersonal and verbal skills; and a positive attitude, team player and strong work ethic. HTML email design, motion graphics and Adobe After Effects skills preferred.
