The Associate Director of Stewardship Reporting is responsible for the daily management of a comprehensive stewardship program designed to enhance and strengthen core stewardship functions and strengthens the Universityâ™s relationships with donors. Core responsibilities include overseeing the production of high-volume, deadline-driven donor communications and projects in support of stewardship goals and other Advancement initiatives.
The Associate Director will manage a personal portfolio as assigned by the Director of Stewardship, as well as oversee the delivery of annual stewardship reports for endowed and current use fund. As such, in collaboration with stewardship officers, writers, senior level fundraisers, and university administrators, the Associate Director will ensure that reports, in addition to sharing unique impact stories, also express gratitude from those who benefited from philanthropy. The Associate Director will also ensure the implementation of stewardship plans developed in support of fundraising priorities.
Education and Experience
Bachelorâ™s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, and 6 years of development or related experience or/and stewardship, communications, or other writing-intensive position.
Previous staff management experience required.
