The Communications and Events Analyst is charged with managing events and communications for the division and participates in campus-related activities, as needed. The Analyst works effectively with faculty, staff, and students to ensure clear processes and quality outcomes for all division sponsored events, and ensuring policies and procedures are followed along with drafting memos, letters and other communications on behalf of the Provost, Senior Vice Provost and office in general. The incumbent collaborates with the Strategic Communications Team to coordinate and implement the division's communication plan. In addition to working independently, the Analyst has strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital and social media, visual concepts and graphic design. The Communications and Events Specialist is expected to uphold a high standard maintaining effective working relationships with diverse constituents and communicating effectively to facilitate critical business between the offices of the President, Vice Presidents, Deans, and Departments. The Analyst also provides back-up administrative support to the Provost and Senior Vice Provost.
