Art Director

As a member of the marketing leadership team, the art director leads creative development from ideation to production. The director must work collaboratively with the director of marketing, associate director of digital media and director of web development to ensure the alignment of the University’s brand and creative strategy. Responsibilities include producing a wide variety of compelling and strategic visual communications; directing multi-platform creative processes; managing and supporting the design staff to ensure high-quality work within tight deadlines and alignment of strategic marketing goals; and integrating visual and content resources across print and digital platforms and channels. This individual must be a strategic, innovative, positive, hands-on, collaborative and effective brand and communications champion and a strong visual lead. The director must have the firsthand experience to embrace and mentor staff on integrated communications initiatives in print, web/online, social media, video/multimedia and photography.
