The Bolles School, a Northeast Florida independent college preparatory day and boarding school founded in 1933 and regarded as one of the top educational institutions in the country, currently seeks an accomplished and creative advancement executive to serve as Chief Advancement Officer (CAO). The CAO reports to the Head of School, is a member of the senior leadership team and is responsible for the institution's development, alumni and parent relations. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of galvanizing and sustaining a dynamic and successful advancement office; planning and accomplishing a capital campaign; generating major, corporate, foundation and planned gifts; enhancing institutional visibility; and developing and retaining an outstanding team. Purpose: Prepares strategic plan with short- and long-range goals to meet institutional funding objectives; maximizes gift support to the institution, including annual fund solicitation, planned giving programs, corporate and foundation proposals, and major capital gifts.
