AGC is looking for a Manager of Member and Volunteer Engagement to join our team – an individual who is energetic, self-motivated, creative, and customer-service focused. This position will manage AGC of America’s member and volunteer engagement efforts in support of AGC’s membership recruitment, retention and engagement strategies. The Manager, Member & Volunteer Engagement develops and works with key staff, volunteer groups and chapters to implement a volunteer development plan and organizational programs and initiatives aimed at strategically recruiting, placing, training, developing and recognizing volunteers at all levels of the organization.
Work with the chapter support team and marketing team on new member onboarding.
Assisting in the development and implementation of an engagement strategy - with the goal of improving the member experience and engaging employees of member firms at multiple levels of the organization in order to understand the needs of member companies and important trends in the industry.
Responsible for AGC of America’s chapter membership support efforts as they relate to overseeing the collection of AGC member data.

The successful candidate will possess the following:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, association management or similar field preferred.
2-3 years of association experience – preferably in marketing, business development, volunteer management and/or membership.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Knowledge of association chapter/component relations.
Experience with electronic communication tools – Higher Logic experience a plus.
Working knowledge of association management systems – iMIS a plus.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Team player with cooperative spirit and willingness to juggle multiple activities at one time.
Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – Office 365 experience preferred.
