REAL Strategies is looking for a Campaign Services Coordinator to join their dynamic team of playmakers, consulting for our clients from large national trade associations to local campaigns and interest groups. The Campaign Services Coordinator supports REAL Strategies' clients engaged in campaign strategy and outreach activities. The Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with campaign planning, budgeting, execution, and analysis for projects across the entire REAL Strategies client portfolio. You’ll be asked to:
Develop strategic campaign plans and budgets
Determine likely budgets and reasonable timelines for candidate, issue (electoral and legislative), member, and consumer action campaigns
Assist the strategic consulting team with campaign planning as necessary
Work with polling and data teams to provide background campaign research as well as identify outreach targets for state and local projects
Perform historical campaign and turnout research
Submit data requests for outreach files and other targeted universes
Manage the flow of information between the client and creative/vendor/administrative teams to effectively implement campaign plans
Monitor creative timelines and deadlines
Follow up with clients, consultants, and vendors as needed to ensure tasks are on track
Review creative materials for quality control
Secure client approvals and legal signoff on creative materials
Request and transmit data files for vendors and clients
Familiarize self with and stay abreast of emerging campaign trends, tools, and technologies
A desire to make a difference through advocacy at the national, state and local level
Strong organizational and time management skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Strategic problem-solving and political planning abilities using creativity and initiative
Excellent communication and writing skills
Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency
Familiarity with voter database searches and list building or similar tools strongly preferred
1-2 years working in politics or a politically related position, such as a community, electoral, or issue organizing background
Ability to work in and adapt to a fast-moving, team-oriented virtual environment
An understanding of the sometimes urgent and often rapidly changing nature of political campaign planning and execution
Goal-setting and self-motivated mindset, with the self-discipline to work from home
Positive attitude and personality
Telecommuting is allowed.
